There are some houses that you walk into where you immediately feel at home. That was definitely the case when we stopped by Moses and Jamie's delightful home for this Apartment Therapy House Tour. Of course, it also didn't hurt that we were offered a mimosa before we even set our belongings down (not to worry, we didn't partake). It's hard to believe that these two have only lived here one short year--every vignette looks like it took precious time to evolve. We'll definitely be bookmarking this set of pics as inspiration for our next move (and we're guessing you might too).

When you step into Ila and Nate's 700 square foot condo, you can see from one end of the space straight down to the other. However, they brilliantly mitigated the alley effect by using a different saturated color in each room, causing the eye to want to stop and take stock of the visual delights in each distinct space. Maggie S., otherwise known as Mizrobot on Flickr, is a faithful Apartment Therapy reader and a proud graduate of the Apartment Therapy Cure, and her 550 square foot home shows it! She's got a beautiful collection of interesting vignettes, a sophisticated and playful choice of colors, and a discriminating eye for the things she displays in her home. She's letting us take a peek into her home, but with the notice that this is to be considered the "before"--she has just recently moved in with her boyfriend and is working on incorporating her life with his. While she dives head first into making her (very beautiful) style work with his, we can see just how she expresses herself in her home when the canvas is all hers. Modena, an ancient city in Emilia-Romagna, is home to the Ferrari company, Italy's best balsamic vinegar, and this incredible pre-war apartment, shared by Luciano, his wife Marzia, and their daughter Margherita. The building dates back to 1906, and the first thing you notice when you walk through the door are the hand-painted walls and ceilings, which Luciano and Marzia had restored to their original colors and motifs.

Situated at the heart of Los Angeles' bustling downtown fashion district, Bryan's impeccably decorated small space is a Jonathan Adler-ish oasis of calm and comfort. Despite luxurious appointments, the space was furnished with a keen eye for good design at reasonable prices, tapping into what Bryan described as an obsessive focus for Craigslist deals, decorating the majority of the 650 square feet with vintage and future design classics bought at a fraction of retail prices. From the clear chess pieces arranged within a lantern to the vintage suit cases just peeking out from underneath the bed, Bryan's home confidently showcases his affinity for design both new and old in memorable fashion.
