Eileen Fisher Lacy Mohair Throw

EileenFisherThrow.jpg

Now that fall weather has finally arrived, we find ourselves drawn to all things cozy as we search for new home accessories. Calling to mind a soft and snuggly scarf, this beautiful mohair throw from Eileen Fisher certainly fits the cozy bill...

The delicate texture of the Lacy Mohair Throw from Garnet Hill comes from its pointelle stitch knit; this soft throw is made from a combination of mohair, nylon and wool. At 40" W x 80" L, we think this piece is perfectly sized for reading on the couch. The throw is dry-clean only which is a unfortunate, but careful handling should help ensure that cleaning it isn't a weekly necessity. The Lacy Mohair Throw comes in three colors (bittersweet, goldenrod and soft white), and its $168 pricetag makes it a great addition to any holiday wishlist.

I love Eileen Fisher bedding but find anything with mohair content too scratchy.

I love Eileen Fisher but can only afford it on eBay. Eileen Fisher items do a brisk trade there and you can get some decent deals if you keep an eye out.

Actually the $168 price tag makes me take it out of consideration. It is nice though.

It's a throw. I don't want to have to be careful with it. My kids should be able to use it to build a fort. And the price? Come on.
